“Umbrella Art Fair is an annual art fair where the heartbeat of Washington, DC’s art scene converges with the avant-garde talents of national and international artists and makers. Umbrella is a declaration of artistic independence, a rebellion against the mundane, and a celebration of the daring.

Founded in 2019, Umbrella brings together more than 150 artists and independent curators over three days and has driven over $750,000+ in art sales and 60,000 attendees to the fair in just three events (2019, 2021, 2023). We take no commission from artists, with all art sales going to the pockets of those exhibiting.

This year will be no different-- Umbrella will once again break records and set the standard for what the DC art community can achieve together. “
